You know what I have always wondered? Who made Snoops the expert on all of these :?:
They do seem to be right most of the time.
I was wondering that myself... :-)

If you're ever unsure about whether or not something is safe or your item was affected by a recall, there is a website you can check. It is http://www.recalls.gov/ . It is a treasure trove of information, and you can even sign up for email alerts if you're interested. Several different federal agencies report through this site so you get everything from food to medicine to toys and cars. This site is bookmarked at the top of my favorites list -- I do a lot of second-hand shopping, and want to make sure something is safe before I buy.

Because they have credible references that either refute or confirm the incident/story.

They give credible references to either refute/confirm the stories. That's why!
