Good grief...I was so prepared for a totally different ending...like maybe the 84 year old giving the 95 year old her radio!

How sad! We wonder why our kids and grandkids are so disrespectful, but they are learning from our example. I lived with people like this and one can stand up for oneself without being unkind.

I enjoyed the story and had a good laugh that said.
What a sad story to be 85 and not have anyone to visit and not even a radio to listen to. I am moved by this story
I feel I need to start going weekly to the rest home and visit.

I have worked with the elderly for 13 years and have known 7 people who have reached 100. Some never loose their spunk! :lol: :lol: :XD: Thanks for shareing this! :XD:
