I did once... but I don't like the fuss of the prep and the cost. I'd like to show in obstacle if I did. I'd rather do community service kinds of things with them. I take one for rides in the van when it's nice out. :-D

I ran into a person from a show last year that took minis to nursing homes to interact with the elderly and also to visit special needs kids. I thought that was pretty interesting. I love them, they are like big dogs and very gentle with people. one of ours is a driving horse.

How gorgeous, makes me wish I had a view like this, of course I may not get too much done in the way of sewing though as I would likely be too busy watching the view change

I took Mazie in an assisted living place a few years ago--it was awesome. It's tricky though... I can only fit one in the van--and it's hard on a horse to be away from the herd. I didn't want to take one wee horse in the trailer... So--it's easier to bring the residents out here. So, for four years now, the same assisted living place has brought a bus load of 16 out here in July for a horse show. There are lots of photos on my website..... :-D
