hehehe how funny! Mine has her appointment Sunday with the mobile vet - we'll see how well she likes this ride!

So funny! When my Daphne was just about 4 months old, she had to go to the vet - she's a Shih Tzu. Since I work, she had to stay all day, and when I arrived in the evening to get her, I heard her barking as I entered the building. She was to have had a check-up and a trim. The vet tech came out to meet me and said, "Boy, I'm glad I didn't have to groom her!" The groomer came out with my baby, who weighed maybe 6 pounds, and said, "the Dr. would like to speak with you before you leave."

Upshot, I got a lecture from the vet about how headstrong Miss Daphne is and that I need to be sure to get that under control. He had very kindly printed out some reading materials for me to take home. Here I stood, tiny demon pooch in hand, surrounded by the vet tech, the groomer, and the vet, feeling like I was in the principal's office! We still giggle about that! And when we are honest, we say that she is a Rot Weiler in a Shih Tzu body - she MUST have her way! Guess I helped her fail puppy kindergarten!

I walk mine the mile down the road to the vets. They stop at the driveway and hunker down. Then I tell them the "k-i-t-t-y" is there and off they go.

That is the only animal I can think of the vet does not have, so we are safe. Come to think of it, I do not think Max, Fritz and the ArkanSaSS Lizzie even know what a kitty is.

my yellow lab absolutely LOVES going to the vet. She tries to turn down his block if we even walk in that direction.
