Please think twice about buying Creative Cuts fat quarter single from Walmart. I bought 4 pkgs and the label was stuck/glued to the fabric so tight and I could not get it off, where I did get it off it left a sticky mess or sliver paper behind that would not come off. Now I have to make to trip just to take this stuff back. What a waste of gas and time.

This must really bother you - since you've posted that comment in three places.

Have you tried soaking the pieces, or using goo-gone, or something like that?

I got 4 of these for 25 cents apiece. I have stuck them in the freezer to harden up the glue and then I will use goo gone to finsih it up. I figure for a $1, I'm not out much if it doesn't work!!!

Also, frequently the fqs are not a true fq. they often smaller.

have you tried goo gone to get off the stickeys. i've used it before and then washed the fabric and have had no problems. i have had stickers stick to fat quarters before from joanns also. i think it happens when the fq sits on the shelf for awhile.
