Now they say that to do the PA Child Abuse they need an FBI clearance form. Ok...we get online find the form, find where to get fingerprints done and go this morning. NOPE! They can't use a printed online form, they have to have the actual cards...they don't have them of course. All they can tell me is to call the FBI for them. Have you ever tried talking to an actual person at the FBI? I think its all computers! So I have a call in to the director of the camp.....there is no way I can get forms mailed to me...filled out...sent to another agency....mailed back to me...and then sent to camp between now and the 29th of this month!
And they think they can handle healthcare? HAH!
In our state, the Police department and Health & Welfare offices do fingerprinting. Have you tried them?

the police dept is where we went. They wouldn't/couldn't use the form we printed online and said they didn't have fingerprint cards for anyone but criminals. But all is well! She will not need that form after all. She can send another one in instead that does not require FBI clearance.

Maryse, where do you find these outrageous but funny Avatars? This one is right-on!

Hope your dau gets all the paperwork through (with your help) & that she has a wonderful time. It's great to see a young lady who wants to work this hard while doing something she truly loves. Wish there were more like her.

I am sorry you are having such a time! I am in PA and do to my work have had to have FBI fingerprint check. It was done through Cogent and I had to print out a form and then take it to a designated site to be fingerprinted. It was a UPS/Parcel store not to far from me and cost $25 which was paid by my employer. It did not involve a card, it was done digitally. Good luck.

Sometimes you wonder where your day goes....if it's any consolation we suffer the same paperwork nightmares here. Just now we are doing a claim for storm damage - and I have been trying to sort out my youngest with his Polytechnic paperwork. I was horse mad as a teen (still am, truth be told), I think my mother was rather pleased, no "boy" problems.
