I want to find where you can get classical e-books for free. I was thinking that someone here had wrote a thread that gave the address for the free site. If anyone knows where I can get this I would be greatly apprecative (sp). Thanks Jennifer

you can download kindle for free on your computer, or smartphone. They have many classics for free. I have "Little Women" downloaded on my smartphone, and I have "kindle" downloaded on my computer also-free

Before you buy your e-reader, check with libraries in your area. Many libraries are starting to have e-books available for checkout, but your e-reader must be compatable with their e-books. For example, our library's e-books can be read on Nook but not Kindle.

Go to Barnes & Noble's website, they have 100,s of free classical books in .epub which is the standard format that all libraries use. You can download for free the Nook app.
I use them on my Ipad. I didn't care for the Kindle app as it doesn't allow me to expand on my Ipad, and it doesn't work with my library ebooks unless I go thru each one and convert which is a royal pain.
