USING FLICK'R
#1
HI, I have been trying to post pictures from swap pkg's I have received and items I have made. When I get on to Flicker, I get viruses on my computer. I do have an anti-virus program that thankfully takes care of it but 'Alert, Alert' is not something I want to see. So many of you post pics. Have you ever had this problem and/or do you have other suggestions? I hate to pay an IT guy to come set anything up. Thank you.

I use webshots and have for years. I do pay $14.99/yr. AND have over 15,000 photos stored.

It's a very rare occassion that a problem comes up. I use it to post all my photos to my blog.

LOVE it.

I use shutterfly and picasa for mine. Also, some of those virus messages are just so you will click on them and buy more anti virus software so be careful. I like the idea of webshots, thanks for the suggestion!!

You don't need one of these systems to post photos here. They just need to be on your computer. When you hit 'choose file' below the typing box you just need to know the name of your picture. If you are not hitting the 'reply' button below any of the beginning post you won't get the 'file attachments:' options. If you use the 'quick reply' box they aren't there.

Hi. Sorry to hear about your problems with flickr. I use flickr and have not experienced the same issues. It's possible you have a virus/trojan on your computer or that you're on a thread contaminated with a fake alert so you click it to download, sisLH. Are other members of your group complaining of this?
