It's not so much about the intruders who walk on the floor before it's dry that bugs me. It's the fact that that jug of milk or bottle of ketchup or the dog etc. that knows you just cleaned the floor and proceeds to spill or vomit or whatever about a couple of hours after. It's like there is a vibration in the house that sends out a signal to something or someone to mess up the darn thing just as quickly as you had cleaned it.

Last year in December, right before xmas, I slipped on a wet spot in my kitchen which has italian stone and shattered my right knee cap, It looked like a starburst on the xrays. So I really watch now. It's just me and hubby and I tell him when I mop. Usually when he is outside in his shop. SIlly floors can be treacherous. LOL. My kitchen floor is about 10 x 10 so I put a center carpet in to take up more of the space. Guess I'm a little "floor shy". One of these days I want a island in the middle to use. Maybe we should all buy one of those "wet floor" signs. In quilters colors. LOL.
