Lightbulb Birthday Girl Idea

She's three today. Her family are Disney World NUTS. I decided to make her Cinderella pillowcases for her big girl bed. Yesterday morning I had a light bulb moment - AHA. I'll make her matching sleep pants. I am so very happy with the results.

Darling! She'll love them. I did pillowcases with my two grandkids last summer, then ages 3 and 5, as our first sewing projects. I had the fabric cut out and ready to go using the Missouri Star tute. The kids help with the seams and turning the fabric. It was a surprise, they didn't know what they were making. They've moved 750 miles away but love their pillowcases they made with Grandma. I think we'll make sleep pants next time we are together.

Too cute! If you have any fabric left you could purchase a simple T shirt to match and add appliqué to make it a set of pjs!

There is a very tiny scrap but not even big enough to fussy cut a motif for appliqué .
