Watch the Eagles (real birds, not Super Bowl)
For over a month I've been watching the live webcam showing the nest of two eagles, Jackie and Shadow, high in the trees in Big Bear Valley. (I can see Big Bear mountain in the distance from my house, so I feel like I'm close by.) Jackie laid the first of two eggs on January 11, and they should be hatching any day now. https://www.friendsofbigbearvalley.org/eagles/

I'll have to check that out! I watch our DNR EagleCam daily. Our eagle laid her first egg on Wednesday, so the watch is on for an additional egg or two. It's so fun watching the whole progress, and I find it really enjoyable and soothing to watch them caring for those eggs.
Gosh...took a quick peak, and your camera and view is so much better than ours!!

Oh that is awesome! Thanks for posting the link. There is a nesting pair close to where I work in Folsom, CA on the American River. Occasionally I see one flying or even more rarely perching high in a redwood.
