    We had a blast !!

The concert was wonderful. I took pictures but the camera phone didn't cooperate. The only real photo that came through was the ones of the marque. The concert hall was so beautiful the architecture was magnificent. My husband said the interior work was all done by hand, the plaster molding were done a few feet at a time with a steel mold.

We went to Fabric Depot, JoAnn's and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Oh and Harbor Freight but they were out of blades....LOL like I need anymore. Being the practical person I am I needed some new kitchen gadgets so I got these as a b-day gift along with my fabric.
My husband took me to Claim Jumper's for dinner to celebrate my birthday. Oh the food was fantastic, I had a steak cooked just this side of having a heartbeat. It was to die for. :)

After our adventure, it is so nice to be home. The pups and Kola were glad to see us.

The JoAnn's fabric i for finishing up Christmas presents.

I am making quilts for the neighbor two little kids, a boy and a girl. The yellow fleece along with the fleece with feet prints is for one of our granddaughters and Spiderman is for a grandson.

Happy Birthday and boy sounds like a awesome way to spend a birthday. So glad it was so nice for you. I love lots of assorted goodies that I get to pick out for my gifts-this year not much chance of that happening since yesterday my pet store friend called to tell me he is selling one of the stores 110 gallon fish tanks w/ everything except fish, its easily worth over a $1000.00, he is selling it for $300.00 and my Honey agreed..so happy birthday to us....mine is coming up too.

    GORDON LIGHTFOOT!!!!!

i've belonged to gordon lightfoot since 1963 when i saw him at a free concert in central park. we took our then 1-year old dd with us and she loves him, too. must be something in the air.

he was very sick for a long time and i was glad to hear when he recovered.

edit: oh, yeah!  HAPPY, HAPPY!

Thanks everyone, I have spent a few hours redoing my sewing area. I have to find spots for the fabrics I am using in making Christmas goodies and a place for my personal stash to go.
