Marsye, you take great photos.
We had, what you said, just last week. We've about 10" on the ground since Dec. and then got 1/2" rain and freezing rain on top of it. Each day was sleet, rain and then it'd freeze at night, so the roads/sidewalks turn into ice rinks. Not fun driving or walking, let me tell you. Then the temps. dropped into the basement and we had highs during the day in the single digits and lows at night of minus 15. Now we're having a bit warmer - I think it got to 15 today. It actually felt balmy when I was out doing some errands this afternoon!

wow! Thats how our area looked last week - had freezing
fog (never heard of that but thats what the weatherman
called it) for 2-3 days. Was pretty, but don't really
like ice unless its in my drink. All gone now, thank
goodness.

ooh but it looks sooooooo pretty!!!!!!! we are having a very mild winter this year.. we don't have much snow on the ground even after two snow storms. But we received alot of mild weather and a ton of rain that took most of the snow away.

This morning however it is very cold. -18 degrees celcius with the windchill.. brrrrrrrrr

We had ice, and then got snow. 7" of snow here, but it has melted a bit.
