It is awful to have to tell you all about the loss of this fantastic quilt shop in Ringgold, GA due to the tornado. This link is to some pictures of the shop - you would never know that was what it was without the words on one remaining wall!

I hope this link works - it was sent to me by one of the quilters who has worked there for years.

This comes on the heels of getting notice that the only other quilt shop in Chattanooga, Lavender Lime Quilts, is closing soon.

Thank goodness we finally got a Joann's here last fall!

The good news is that no one was injured in the shop. The entire area around the shop, including several fast food shops, a car dealership and a motel, were demolished. It is absolutely incredible that more people weren't injured.

As we watched the news of the Tornados on CNN, I couldn't help but think about our members who are from the Southern States. People around the world will be thinking about you and praying for you also. Good luck and God bless.

Oh my goodness. .I'm so sorry to hear this. I lived in Ringgold for a few months about 5 years ago and shopped there a bunch, lovely shop and personnel. in fact I lived just up the street from that whole group of shops..I hate that that happened...We had it rough here but thank heaven the worst of it missed us. Prayers going out to all of those affected.
