Funny ! But the phone book thing is true ! Here, they're making them half the size and the print IS so tiny that you need a magnifying glass ! The change in my apperance dosn't bother me in the mirror because I see it every day and am use to the indignity of aging...it's when I see myself in a photograph that the shocker hits me !! For some reason it's different in a picture and I see myself as others really see me. I stand behind someone when I get in a picture now.
Great to see you back Ditter..

Glad I am not the only one that has discovered these things.

This is why I bought a set of magnifying glasses.....One by his chair.....one in the bathroom....one in drawer with papers and mailing needs.

Yours. too? Personally, I think at a certain age, they are removed and added to the bottoms of our feet, because the floor is certainly farther away than it was 40 yrs. ago!

What is scary is that it just doesn't seem to get any better! I find that to enjoy my food, I even have to put on my reading glasses so I can see what is on my plate! My hysterectomy scar and overlap wants to rest on my lap!And then, of course, we reach the point that we just don't care anymore because these things just cannot be fixed........
