the weather in Oklahoma

Guys we have had it all this week ...... we had a 5.6 earthquake ....shook like all get out .... today we have had tornadoes all day .... storm trackers were traveling down our road ...... hubby saw the DOMINATOR on hwy 62 today ..... for you who dont know the DOMINATOR it is the viehicle that the stom chasers on tv use .... he was stoked ....... laughed at him ...... he comes in the house yelling I saw the DOMINATOR ......LOL...... hope everyone is warm dry and safe ...... CQR

I added earthquake coverage on our house insurance today. It was so very inexpensive but there is a rather large out of pocket in the event of a claim.

I can't believe how this place rocked the other night. What a totally alien feeling.

We saw the graphic footage of the quake over here - glad things were not worse. We are going through hail storm conditions at the moment - so can sympathise = I don't have a garage...

Here's a shot of the tornado when it was due west of Frederick Oklahoma. I took the photo out on Grand Avenue in front of our shop. The tornado was about 7 miles from town and damaged the Dairy right after this photo was taken.

Oldest Granddaughter use to want to be a storm chaser, don't know if she still wants to or not. She has gotten older. I'm glad we don't have too many bad storms where I live.
