Yes please, I would love to see it. I would share this with my friend to give her an idea. Still need to find someone who wants to take this on.

My mom made many Barbie dresses. There are patterns! Here are some: http://barbscraftbooks.tripod.com/dolls/id15.html

Yes, they're small but it can be done. I made some doll clothes for my girls (many years ago) and they even had tiny little set in sleeves. They turned out much better than I expected. Not even any tucks in the set in sleeves.

This brings back so many good memories of my late aunt and my childhood. I told my dh that I am going to find a vintage Barbie and dress her and put it in my quilt studio.

Thanks. It isn't going back in my cedar chest. Off to ebay to find a barbie. LOL!

Deb, thanks for posting the pictures. It is simply amazing the creativity and talent that some people have.I will show them to my friend, and then I guess the search will be on to find a seamstress that wants to do this...5 times. You're right, you should dress up your sewing room with these memories. It would be fun and always remind you to smile. Thanks again.

They really aren't that difficult, just take a whole lot of patience. I think it's Simplicity that has a barbie pattern that includes a wedding dress. I made one for my granddaughter last Christmas.
