It was our usual second saturday quilting day but I wasn't in the mood to quilt. I sat here this morning and thought what am I going to do? I started on the new grommet drape pannels for the living room and dining room. When I got as far as I could with that I decided to re do the dining room chairs. The green is the before. Got the rest of the fabric in the dryer for the pannels. Will finnish them tomorrow and post some pics.

I have been thinking about re-doing my kitchen chairs, was it very hard?

Not to hard. Handy to have an extra set of hands to help. As the old fabric was well atrached (lots of staples) and in good shape I put the new stuff over it. Just pulled it tight and stapled. DH helped with holding the fabric tight and putting in the screws.

Thanks! Its sure a departure from my usual colors and style but I am having fun redoing this little house. Got the fabrics in from Fabric.com. I love that site.

I did the very same thing today, however when I removed the current fabric I found someone had covered up the most beautiful fabric, so it a snap to just remove the one layer and I was done! How prefect was that! Made my day!

That is great! I redid my chairs a while back...with my kids, next time I think I might cover them in plastic. Mine don't even look nice anymore.
