You're welcome.

I do realize that low carb is not for everyone.

LC works for me. It does make me uncomfortable posting about it here because I've been through the miserable starving phases of normal diets and ended up gaining weight. I think it's because I have a carnivore's appetite that low carb appeals and works for me.

I am on the 1200 calorie a day diet. I've lost 5 lbs this month so far. It works, but it is very tough. Low carb diets don't work for me. I have noticed when I hit a plateau- if I take a day to eat all I want - the next few days I will lose again.

Persistence is the key for me. Because of all my health issues, I don't get much of a chance for exercise. When I do, it is a short walk of 1/2 mile or less. That is very strenuous for me.

Keep on moving! Don't give up!

OMG I know how far a 1/4 mile is from my house then to turn around and walk back I couldn't do it. With my vertigo someone would think I was drunk even with my cane and they would send the cops. I would end up being locked in a room with Missy someplace. I wish I could walk 1/2 mile.
