[quote=dgrindey][quote=bluteddi][quote=dgrindey]Just been browsing through all the threads.

Missy, when are you having your lap band? I thought it was going to be the other surgery---do you have to lose all the weight before the surgery? Are you feeling well, my dear? Let us know when the big date is.
    *******

I am scheduled to have the lap band on March 31. I have to lose the full 30 pounds BEFORE they will do the surgery. So, if I do not lose another 7 pounds this week I will be rescheduling the surgery for the end of April. Hopefully that will give me the time I need to get rid of the pesky 23 pounds I have left to lose. I am feel pretty good. I do have my moments where I crave certain foods but for the most part I am doing good. I will keep you guys updated.

    Missy

HI all been away too long. So much to catch up on. Happy Birthday Tru and Donna. So glad your doing good Missy. You've been on my mind with this deadline to lose so much weight. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know you can do it.
I on the other hand have been like an eating machine. Just have to eat everything I see. I'm up 2 pounds this month and I've asked my DH to keep me away from the bad stuff. So I get steely looks every time I look in the frig or pantry. I really need him to cook and bar me from the kitchen.
Keep up the good work and I'll try to do better.

But I am sticking to it and maybe the weight fairies will bless me on my next trip.
I think using a saucer may be a great idea. I use a smaller plate but this may work much better. Thanks

I sure hope you can do it March 31st. I know you will feel much better. You really are doing well with the weight loss. We all have our moments of craving. Since Fri. was my birthday, my friends took me to lunch; Sat. my daughters took me to lunch and a manicure; Sun. my son and family took me to a great Mexican brunch. So needless to say, I ate!!!!!!! Today is another day. Back on schedule. Donna G
