ALWAYS check out their clearance aisles! Was in MD visiting my daughter and got 88% off some of the nicest home decor. Can we say Christmas & birthday presents bought ahead of time? Also got a 20 yd bolt of trim for $6 and change. Not to rain on the parade, BUT, as with all chain stores some are the pitts (like my local one-small , always a mess and employees with attitude  ) and some are amazing. Of the Hobby Lobby stores I've visited-lots-most are really nice, have really good deals and helpful employees. Definately sign up for the email circular. It comes early Sunday morning so you can plan your week's worth of purchases.

Deb, yes, Bens does have good sales and they do a good job of getting in new fabric so it isn't the same old thing when you go.

I did go back up to HL today and bought Harriet Hargrave's Freshman quilting book, the first in a 6 part series, with a 40% off coupon! Also got a couple yards of fabric to replace something I had to rip out this morning.

uh-oh... ;-)

If you sign up, you can get their weekly ads and coupons. I love the store.

Love hobby lobby. Wish we had one here. If they don't have it-you don't need it.

Hobby Lobby is great for after season sales. Christmas fabrics at great prices after Christmas, Valentines fabrics after Valentines Day, etc. I always stock up for the next year's projects. Our store also seems to have a "generous cut" policy. Always get a few extra inches on a cut - never short.
