Leatheflea, you are too funny. Loved your comment. Guess I will go get in a tub of ice water to cool down. He asked me last night if I wanted him to go get the wire brush. Ouch!!!!!
Made it thru the night, of course itching. Gotta go to town this morn so I will pick up some of that chigger-x stuff at the farm store.
Seema like they multiplied last night. They are worse then rabbits. I have bumps everywhere.

To kill chiggers and seed ticks we use Rid Shampoo like a body wash. To relieve the itch a little ammonia works great. If you want to spend more you can buy products like after bite, then you get the ammonia in a fancy container.

Yuck! I got several bites one year picking blackberries and now I wear pants and tuck them into my socks if I'm going near the blackberries!! ItchX really helped, but those bites itch for days!! I'd say the trip for benadryl may be worthwhile!

Cover each bite bump with clear fingernail polish. Stops the itch and reduces the swelling. We each have our own bottle!! :)

I fell for you, I've had them. Used red finger nail polish on them, that's all I had, until I got to the drugstore next morning. I dug the blood out of my legs that night. Barb

I've used a "bleach bath" to get rid of the last round I had. Put a capful of straight bleach into a tub of water & soak until the itching stops.

Clear fingernail polish does smother them, even though you have alot it does work.

Make sure they aren't wood mites that burrow under your skin, are extremely itchy, and you need an RX cream to get rid of.
