I can see the driveway, the street, and the houses across the street. The sun was so bright I had to actually close the blinds a bit to be able to see. The weather is actually very cool for here, and we had a freeze warning the other night. I even broke down and turned on the heater . But I love the snow and would love to live where it snows but hubby hates it, he only likes it in pictures etc. So here we sit in the desert.

    Mary, what a beautiful scene.

What can I see out my sewing room window? with my eyes open, nothing but a blank wall.
But if I close my eyes I can see my old home.
The cardinal couple that visits my grape arbor.
The squirrel who twitches his tail and taunts my dogs.
The clothes tree my husband bought me to air out my quilts.
The perfectly blue sky over the ocean.

Treasure what you see today. It may be gone tomorrow.

Beautiful scenery with the snow. My window is sunny out but very chilly for Fl. and with the wind chill tonight to be in the 20's. Good it doesn't last. Merry Christmas everyone. Sue

I was excited when I saw this thread cuz I thought I'd see lots of photos of what was out lots of sewing room windows. I wanted photos, not verbal descriptions. Come on people, you can do better... we want to see!!!! Here is what is outside mine. It's lovely no matter what time of year it is. Sorry for the screen making the photo dark.

Just grey and windy here in NYC. I look out at the Throggs Neck Bridge at the end of the Long Island Sound. Lots of boat traffic going by...mostly barges and tug boats. Too cold for sport boats today.
