Depends how long it is. If it is just a few posts, I read them first..if many pages, Sometimes I dont.

Depends on the topic and the need.....I will comment on a beautiful quilt or a question without reading all of the other posts but if it's a story or non-quilting talk, I usually read many of the other responses before deciding to chime in or not.

I usually just read the first couple of the chain. Always look at the pictures. I sometimes put in my thoughts but not always.

I scroll down and write what I want to say, which is usually what pops in my mind first about a quilt, then I read others.

It depends on the topic, If help,and someone has answered the same as I would have, I skip the rest. No point in saying the samething over and over. If its something that I can learn from also, I will read all the posts.

This. Of course, I haven't read thru "THIS" time :mrgreen: :mrgreen: , but if it is a post that is asking for advice or instruction, I prefer to read thru beforehand...
