If you are a couponer and have expired coupons, did you know that overseas military members can use expired coupons up to six months past their expiration date?

More info here:

I've been doing it for quite some time now. It sure feels better to send them to someone who can use them instead of throwing them away!

Yes, they need them. Some of our military get such magnificent wages that they qualify for food stamps. And that is a national shame!!!

I know, and I agree it is a crime! I think they also have to pay for part of their dependents' medical/dental coverage. Someone please correct me if this is wrong.

Thanks for this info. I think the military families here in the States should also be able to use these coupons. They get paid the same as those stationed overseas, and I know they could also use this kind of help.

I've been doing this for a long time now but I think they will only except them if they are 30 days expired - so you might want to check that before sending old ones. It's a tiny little thing we can do to show appreciation to our troops.
