Yeah, that's the 16 1/2 year old, the other happy one is his older brother. The grumpy girl is the neighbor girl; she is miserable, won't leave her mother's side. And she knows all my gkids very well.
I relooked at the pic I posted. The ham is the oldest one, the 19 year old. He is the one that insisted these continue even though he is in college. Next year, you'll have to come; just bring your favorite candy to share.

How sweet! Even the older guys seem to be having fun! I whish I had thought of doing something like that with my boys when they were younger! Now they will have to do it with older DS's 2 boys in Wisconsin.

Are you just exhausted?

That looks like so much fun. For many years I had a cookie making/decorating party for my grandkids who are now all grown up.

The group picture is so cute, but there has to always be one in the crowd, doesn't there?...

Your pictures are delightful...I will have my three granddaughters over this Wednesday for our "first" cookie
decorating party...I hope we have as much fun as your group seems to be having..My girls are 12 years and two 4yr olds. As I get the pictures, I will display them. All have a wonderful Christmas.

Thanks everyone. Yes, it is Tuesday now and I am still exhausted. The older boys have a ball, and the younger boy is the neighbor boy and he loves being with my big ones. He disappeared for a while and when I came upstairs he was deep in concentration with the 15 year-old playing computer games. For the question about the houses....yes I made 5 batches of gingerbread dough last Wednesday and the 16 year-old helped me cut some out. Then Thursday and Friday I cut & baked all the pieces. Saturday I frosted them together with icing. It is always a long process when you make that many, but they like doing one of their own and like the bigger ones. I just made a pattern of cardboard that I save and use every year. I had to change recipes this year because the old recipe I used was too stiff for my arthritic hands to roll out.
