When we bought our house...we had to take weeks and paint....I wante dto personalize everything for our home and kids' room anyway...but I would not have had a choice because whomever was here before had partridge family walls in one or two of the bedrooms..several different colors and types of paint....in different squares and rectangles..it was crazy looking...the house numbers were made from old stove handles and knobs......weird..took those down right away. To each their own......just not my style.

Boy I feel for you!!! Went through this same thing not too long ago. One of the bedrooms was painted extremely dark navy blue (absolutely nooo light reflection at all) with an emerald green ceiling. UGHHHHH!! Was the first room to get redone.

We just moved ourselves a couple of months ago and have done some painting, although I must say your bright green about made me sea sick! Wow! And black in the basement? Love your soothing blue...I hope you can get to your lonely quilting machine soon...sadly, where we're living now, I don't have room for my quilting frame, so must quilt free form for a while...good luck!

Love the blue room. I know it's a lot of work, but it will be well worth it in the end. Hope you're quilting soon.

The blue looks great. I had to paint over a lime green like that not to long ago so I feel your pain. My cousin did one wall of the green & the rest was hot pink. 2coats of tinted primer & 3 coats of paint later you couldn't tell anymore. It's now a chocolate colour.
Hopefully you get to sew again soon
