there's been 'commercials' on tv here - they are begging for laborers... everybody complains about the illegals working but when the jobs are there, nobody wants them..
all you see working road crews are OLD PEOPLE

I've posted before about the steel mill hiring but had those removed ...

right now any "new" jobs are not new jobs, they are REPLACEMENT jobs

the bp oil spill has devastated the gulf coast businesses - new ones closing every day, so even more people looking for the few jobs out there

so hows all that hopey changy working out for everybody?? The resident cheer leader got you pumped up about those non-existent jobs.??

Sorry, I'm not sure what kind of a nurse RNMH or RMN are, but nurses usually can still find a job, at least here in the States (except for LPNs...we're being eliminated slow but sure). I've heard though that facilities won't pay for experience anymore. A new hire is paid the same....whether you're a new grad or have 20 -30 years experience. I'm scared to go to work each day because of the decisions being made but I'll stay because I have no choice.
RNMH is specialised - working with people who have learning disabilities ( mentally handicapped). RNM is for nursing in the mental health sector.- Sadly my english qualification is not accepted over in the US - or I would be there in the blink of an eye !
