That's a very nice looking Singer Featherweight. She'll probably get her asking price or close to it.

Featherweights typically come in a case, not a cabinet. It's priced a bit higher than I see listed here on CL, but sorry, she's not smoking anything...she's asking what some will pay.

Yup. Featherweights can go for that much if in mint condition.

Wow, I don't need another machine. I hope she gets what she is asking.

My quilt class went to a local quilt show in the next county last year. Someone had these for sale at $500 and up then. I wish I could find one at a reasonable price.

That's actually a good price for a Featherweight in excellent condition. They sell for $400-500 up here.

I *think* I've seen that machine in person...I don't know her, but saw the machine in Wild Angel in Prineville a few weeks ago, with a note from her asking the dealer to give her a price on it...it's pristine, the case is clean, and it had a ton of attachments...that being said, FWs don't go for that much here...$200 - $300 if that.

I agree with Chasing Hawk and Charlee...that's just way too much. Probably hoping for an out-of-state buyer.

I paid that much on a Pristine Featherweight that had sev feet & a nice case. Around here one that nice goes for $500 on up. For one this nice, that is not a bad price for some areas.
