Well...since my SIL (that'd be my husband's brother's wife) is extremely jealous and pretty much hates my guts, we have an "estranged" relationship. But, in order to keep in touch with the niece/nephew, we still do things like Christmas gifts, birthday gifts, Easter candy, etc. So, for Easter, we got them each a chocolate Easter Bunny. I just found them stashed behind their Daddy's desk, still in the bag, doesn't seem like they're gonna get them. What should I do...
a) nothing, forget about it
b) put them back on top of the desk as a way of letting Dad know that I know he didn't give them to the kids
c) ask the Dad how the kids enjoyed the candy?
d) or.....any other suggestions?

Well if it was my house I could see my hubby hiding them behind his desk to keep my kiddo out! It is not always a good time to eat a chocolate bunny! If I were you the most I would do is ask if they liked it! I wouldn't be making a mountain out of a mole hill as small and trivial as candy. Don't put any more strain on the relationship. You were nice and remembered them.

or were you at his work? If they are behind his work desk he probably forgot about them. I would ask. Men are forgetful :)

I'd just eat it and move on.

Their dad is your brother, right? His wife is the SIL you don't get along with. Maybe it's just too hard for him to take them to the kids and listen to his wife complain.

Eat your bunnies and let your brother live in peace if he can.

Actually, he's my husband's brother. But, I think you are right...he probably doesn't want to listen to his wife complain about it.
