Great idea!!!! DIL is wonderful. Not only did she ask Grandma for a quilt but she provided the fabric and pattern so she got what she wanted.

What a lovely way to let both ladies know they were going to be Grandmothers. Lovely DIL.

When my grandson & his wife became pregnant their announcement to me was a phone call. His words were, 'Grandma do you think you could take my BDU's and cut them up to make me a diaper bag?' Of course I made a diaper bag from his BDU's. They live in Washington State, I live in Tennessee.

What a great way to make that announcement. I do not think I will have any more grandchildren now. My oldest just turned 26 and the youngest will be 1 in April. However the GGB's are still coming.
