Default What is this thing?

Can anyone tell me if this is a part from one of my sewing machines? I have taken so many apart and apparently there are a few leftovers.

Looks like a type of spring pin. Like in a magnetic clip or one of those clips that hold bags closed.

It might be part of the bobbin winder. When the bobbin is full, it pops the bobbin away from the wheel. I replaced the rubber ring and messed mine up. I remember a part like that when it took it apart.

I don't have a clue. I would save it, you may discover it is something you will need.

It actually looks like the spring that sits inside a plastic peg.

Often in the manual, there will be a list of parts- maybe you could find it there.

Thanks for your replies and suggestions. It may be from my Morse bobbin winder which I took apart to clean last year and still can't figure out how to put it back together. Grrrrr!!!
