Lucky you guys!!! That sounds like sooooo much fun. My DH hasn't ridden his Harley in over 10 years!!!!

Would love to go back if just for a day. Having to deal with so much sickness now. DH and DS are so sick now and it's just me and my daughter trying to make all out-of-town and local hosp stays.
Would just love to sit under that tree, watch the seals and listen to the ocean again!!!!
We lived in Ft. Ord and I honestly think I know the spot you are talking about. When things get tough, take a few minutes and close your eyes and your ears and just remember......Hugs to you

I am going to have to look into zip lining in Hawaii.....great idea. We went to Costa Rica a few years ago and didn't partake.....now I wish we had.
I went zip lining in Hawaii in 2010...it was beautiful. The only thing I would tell you is that you have to be able to climb to the top of the zip line frames (I think that's what they are called). A couple of people had more trouble getting TO the zip line than actually zipline.
If you go to Maui there's an outstanding quilt shop there and you can take a Hawaiian Quilting class....WONDERFUL!!

My DH and I are avid skiers, love hiking and now have just taken up scuba diving. This summer we have 2 trips to Mexico to dive, one trip to Barbados on a dive trip and in January we're going on a Western Carribean cruise to 4 islands and intend on diving at each opportunity. In summery: we're just 2 big kids. :)

We are planning a trip up the Illinois River on a steamboat and some WI sight-seeing with two couples who we enjoy being with. Then a long week-end with our family at a lodge fairly close to home. Looking forward to some relaxation.
