I'm going to put more mulch on my plantings. With all the heat we've had they need it.

Finished knitting a baby bib - it has a duckie on it. Now I am quilting a sunbonnet. I would like to finish it this weekend, but we shall see if that actually happens.

I have a list somewhere around here of stuff to do this weekend....

Checking in to say I haven't sewn a single stitch today :(

But we did get a HUGE 'new cabinet' installed for ALL my canning supplies. Now just have to keep canning!

Ahhhh good thing there's Monday and Tuesday to try and get some sewing done.

How about YOU?

Watch FIFA Soccer World Cup. Congratulations to the South African for hosting such a Great Tournament. Compleanos to the SPANISH TEAM for their championship. I think I love watching sports as much as quilting,

Here in Pa. it was so hot I couldn't sew. Then we had 3 days of normal temps so did a lot of working on my ufo. Today was lazy. and reading all posts. Haven't posted in ages, since mom passed from alzheimers and I was her caretaker for a year n half. Worst days of my life. Seeing someone you love go to a person I never knew. This board has helped me more then you'll ever know. Thanks to all of you.

What is an Aussie bushman pie? My daughter and her boyfriend are coming in a few weeks from Darwin. Is this something I should learn to make before then?

Sorry for your pup. Get him some black walnut oil from the health food store. It will help with the sickness from the "cure". Somehow it releaves some of the arsenic effects of the medicine. Hope he is better soon.
