We are running around 78 now with the outside temps in the 100 plus for 21 days. Nights we turn it down to 74.

77 during day & 75 at nite as sleeping is on 2nd floor. If temperature is below 70 at nite, I open upstairs windows & no air-conditioning runs.

same here..it was 92 at 1:00 am this morning. will be around 108 again today--thats is 40 days in a row.

We actually keep ours at 78 which is still alot cooler in here than it is outside at a temp of 93 or higher.

With astronomical power bills here, 81-79 day time, off at night most of the time...but August is coming, then I'm afraid it will be on 24/7.

I keep mine on 74 then it goes off by 10 PM and the windows open after that and it does not come on again until noon or later
