Stony Brook is a village on Long Island NY. Besides the beach and vinyards, our particular town is known for the University and Medical Center. Our Post office has an Eagle that flaps his wings on the quarter hour and we are right down the road from one of the first malls (Smithaven Mall) I go a few miles in one direction and I am in the NYC 'burbs. Dive a 1/2 hour in the other direction and I am in potato fields. It's a nice place to live.

Wow, tumrub! Spent many happy childhood moments at the French Lick resort back in the 1960's. I remember getting dressed up for dinner and then going into the piano bar with my parents and drinking Shirley Temples while they danced. I felt so grown up!
