Default What is on your dining room table?

Fun question. I am a little nosey and interested about other's decor.

For the past few months I have two brass candelabras sitting on a table runner with a vase of flowers in between. No candles in them. Oh and a craft project made from construction paper my grandson made one day after school.

A large aqua fish ceramic pot that has greenery in it. I found it at Hancocks fabric about 8 years ago.

I don’t have a formal dining room anymore. We rarely used it. We converted it to a library or as my DH calls it - the bookatorium.

Our dining area is part of a huge living room, I always have a nice table cloth and the first electric lamp my grandmother had when the lines came out to where they lived in Illinois. It is a cream colored Lincoln Drape oil lamp, rewired for electric. I also have their first purchased electric lamp, a small one by the fireplace.
We always eat breakfast on the dining table (glass and rattan), don't use it for anything else.

I am reclaiming the table today. It's only a 5 minute to clean kind of task. It's been a dump and run kind of week while we finished our house painting project. Right now there are 3 file folders with vehicle information on the table. We are waiting on our new truck to arrive at the dealer.

I sew on my dining room table. Unless it is a couple of days out from a holiday dinner, it will always have my machine, and whatever I am currently working on. Today it has my large cutting mat, and a backing fabric that needs to be cut. I'd love to have a dedicated sewing room, but since that isn't in the cards (for now) the dining room will have to do. I do have a high thin table running along the dining room wall that has a Tiffany lamp, photos and several clocks on it.

Right now, I have a table runner with a bouquet of white roses in one of my antique bowls and 2 depression glass candle holders with candles.

Additionally, i have a placemat with some things that need to go upstairs or to the office. The usual everyday clutter.
