I love spring in the garden..everything is flowering, the birds are singing..i can picture it now
but I also love summer..get up early while still cool, throw on shorts and t-shirt and no shoes or jumper, swim in the pool...
but I only love some things about winter..i love hearing it rain and sitting infront of a blazing fire...
but I hate the cold as I just cant get warm...

I like the crisp fall. Nice snuggling weather, a good excuse to stay under the blankets a little longer with hubby, and enjoy some coffee and a little together time.

So, actually the best time of year is fall, cool nights, warm days, and then there are APPLES. Love a fresh crisp Macoun apple. And they are early this year. Yummy.
What is a Macoun? Haven't ever heard of that type.
A macoun is a cross between a macintosh and????. I will have to get back to you. It is a crisp, slightly tart apple. Look for them. The season is short, mid Sept to end of Oct. I guess they sell them out quickly.

I love fall season. It always makes me remember walking to school in WV in what looked like a storm of red and orange fire as the leaves fell and swirled around in the wind. I could catch the odor of brewing coffee from the winds that curled around the bottoms of the hills, and see small animals darting around, ignoring me as they stored up summer's bounty for a long, hard winter.

School I didn't much care about, since it took me from the farm for far too many hours each week day.
