It was supposed to be a surprise, Peachy! They have a float for you to ride on and a nice throne...You better start practicing your royal wave!

Saturday -- Going to the Arts, Beats and Eats festival.

Sunday -- Church, grocery shopping, finishing up some beginning of year paperwork for school

Monday -- Quilting, hemming the pants I need for Tuesday (why are all the pants made for women who are 5'7"?)

I am running errands tomorrow. Sunday I am going with my quilting buddies to Maine for some fabric shopping at the new Marden's in Scarborough. On the way back, we will hit the Joannes in Newington, NH and shop with our coupons! Monday we are getting together again to sew, at least that's the plan!

My book discussion group meets the 9th, so I have to finish the book by then and will probably do so this weekend.

The long weekend is just not long enough! LOL

She sounds really sweet! I used to cook with my Grandma, too! I hope you both have a lovely time!

My plans for this week end? Of course, not having to go to my full time job for 3 days is great!! Going to church Sunday. Had a small fire in our little chimnea Sunday on our back deck and roasted brats. Tasted so Good!!

Then, today my girlfriend is coming with her sewing machine to have a lesson on using it and taking it for a test drive.
Can you believe this? She has had it in the box for 8 years without ever unpacking it!!! I still can't understand how she could do that. We had a wonderful afternoon exploring.
