I was a registered nurse for 35 years. Worked trauma for the last14 years of my career. I was a traveling nurse the last ten years that I worked. I am glad to be grounded and able to sew and do all the things that I missed all those years. Life is soooooooooooo Good...

I started as a teacher, then worked in a factory for a year, then worked for a snowmobile performance company, now the Systems Coordinator (22 years) for one of the departments of a large corporation. ( Systems Coordinator is corporate-speak for taking care of computers, learning new software and training on it, produce reports, order lunch. pick up cakes..... you get the idea!)Also volunteer for tutoring and other community things in my spare time.
Looking forward to retirement some day (5years and 3 months, unless booted out sooner!) so I can volunteer more and actually have time for quilting.

Homemaker for the last 16 years, before that I was a teacher and worked with emotionaly disturbed boys in a home setting. Now I am looking for a temporary job just to get some traction with some bills, and savings and vacations. We are a military family, not very interested in a career.
