Goldfish: Peppie, my son won him at a school carnival when he was 4, the fish lived 12 years, five after we thought he was dead and had put him in a toilet that contained bleach. We got him out with the net as he opened and closed his eyes, put him in a frest tank, and within a few hours he revived[/quote]
Tooooooooo Funny    that story reminds me of when my kids were little we too had a carnival fair goldfish. I was hoping the ball wouldn't go in the fish bowl I DIDN"T want it but as the Gods play tricks on me that fish came home with us. We got a tank and set it up filter and all. After a few years it developed a FAT stomach and would swim upside down. People would come in the house and say to use your fish is dead. We would laugh hit the tank and it would flip over and swim around. The fish was about 6 years old when my cousin came to visit. She took the kids to the pet sho[ and got water testers and all kinds of stuff for this fat fish. They came home tested the water put what ever garbage they didn't because the water wasn't correct and within 24 hours the fish was dead. We buried it in the yard it was so fat I was afraid to flush it that it might get stuck in a pipe.

Dogs: Storm (yellow Lab) & Allie McBeagle (you guessed it, a Beagle)
My horse I had growing up was Ripped on Scotch, hence the user name. No I'm not a scotch drinker and no I didn't pick the name I bought him that way. His barn name was Teddy.

We have a basset hound named Gracie (most lovable dog I have ever owned) a mini dachshund named Brodie and a mini schnauzer who came to live with us when my Mom moved into an apartment named Molly. Gracie is our third basset, others were named Daisy and George. We also had another schnauzer named Mitzie.
