My view is the pasture edged with turning color trees and grazing sheep. Very restful and calming. Diane C

A bradford pear tree is about 15' from my window, then there's the front yard which slopes downhill (pretty steep). Then there's the road, and the house across the street. It's a pretty typical subdivision view.

Although we like our subdivision and our neighbors, DH and I are hoping to find a place a little further out in the country. It'll be awhile though, since our house needs some cosmetic work (paint, mostly) before we can put it up for sale.

Oh jill that is so pretty I love your view. . Currently my sewing room is also the guest room with a covered patio and then looks into part of the back yard. .I have a friend who I occasionally quilt with on nice days we set the machines up on the patio and the cutting and ironing stations up inside. . It works out quite well. To the left side is a small seating area a couple of chairs and small table

Default Fall outside my sewing room

I love every season outside my sewing room. Looking into our backyard and the woods beyond:

I see a quilt out of that picture ! !
On one side I have the side of the house the Inlaws live in. Out the other window I see trees, flowers, and my patio.

We live in the middle of the Green Mountains in Vermont. I sew on the second level next to a huge window that frames the mountains and we have a large bird feeder on a pully. Always activity at the feeder. When I hand sew I go in the front room that has a window that allows close views of the hummingbird feeder and the suet feeder. Chirping wherever I go!

My quilt room is on the second floor on a hill so I get to see the tops of the pine trees and a very tiny part of a hillside. I also get to see the sky and the sunset. Lucky me.
