When in high school, my husband reached in the snow to make and throw a snowball. Later he noticed his class ring was missing. When the snow melted in the Spring, he checked the same area and found his ring.

A few years later, he laid his brand new Black Hills gold ring on a ladder in the garage while he did something and forgetting about it, later he moved the ladder. After some hard searching, he found it again.

We were on holidays in Myrtle Beach. I used my inhaler and put it in my cosmetic bag, or so I thought. When I went to get it, I couldn’t find it so I thought I threw it in the garbage. Six months later my husband found it in his shaving bag.😳

I looked everywhere for my glasses and couldn't find them. I finally gave up and ordered another perscription pair.

Months later I found them... in mid air!... They had fallen behind my nightstand and got caught on the lamp wires. They didn't fall to the floor until I moved the nightstand.

Several years ago, I came into the house with bags and bags of groceries. All the frozen vegies were together so I just threw the plastic bag they were in into the freezer. After that trip I could not find my phone. I was lucky, it was a inexpensive Tracfone so after about two weeks I just ordered another one. About a month later I had grabbed the last vegies out of that bag and I grabbed the bag to throw it away and low and behold it had something in the bottom. Yup - it was the phone and it still worked!!

I cleared the table after dinner, and put stuff away in the cupboards and frig. Next morning when I was setting the table for breakfast I couldn't find the salt and pepper. Looked in all the cupboards, etc, etc. Later that day, I found them behind a bag of potato chips, up on top of the frig. No idea how they got there

I have found my seam ripper on top of the refrigerator in the garage. Evidently, I had suddenly remembered to take something out to thaw and just placed it there for a moment. Don't really know how long it had been there, I have several so I must have moved on to another one at some point.

I once climbed through a window because I couldn't find my keys and on my way through I heard the keys jingling in my pocket. Another time found them in the dishwasher. Once lost my work tag and found it later hooked to the back of my jacket. I seem to always be looking for something

    Fell off your shoulder?

I don't know how many times I've done the 'double glasses' things...wearing sunglasses, I put them up on my head to use my readers, then 'lose' my sunglasses, ugh!

I lost my Easy Angle ruler, which I relied on a lot... Looked everywhere around my sewing stuff (in the dining room) and couldn't find it. So I went to buy a new one. Of course, as soon as I had the new one, the old one was found! It had slipped off the table and was snugly wedged between the side of one of the chair's seat cushions and back of the chair. I know I looked in all the seats around the table, but didn't see it at first because of the angle it landed in. Now I have a spare!
