I just found a site with plenty of basket patterns for free. They look so nice and I might give one a try with a ball of yarn I found hidden away.

Thank you for posting your wonderful shawl and also to ckcowl for the basket.

Very pretty shawl! I am working on one too. It is supposed to be blocked to open up the stitch work. I have taken a couple of up-close photos so that you can see. I still have to add a ruffly picot edge to it that is about 5" wide. I am considering adding crystal beads to the edging. I make jewelry too, and I hope to make a Celtic shawl pin to go with this. Will you wear a shawl pin with yours? Another way to wear these shawls is draped over your winter coat. And of course, you can wear it with the point of the triangle in the front, and with the ends of the shawl wrapped around to the front (like a scarf).
The other photo is of my last crochet project--a super scarf, which is an extra long, over-sized scarf. They seem to be trending now. I plan to wear it with a denim jacket or a wool pea coat. I have purposely left the tassels uneven to give it an artsy, rudimentary look. I have been crocheting since I was 6 years old and knitting since I was 21. My yarn stash rivals my fabric stash. I always have some sort of needle work going.
