I saw that as well I went to the CNN and Washington Post website to confirm since news stations have been hacked before. I figured those two sites would confirm it, unfortunately I can't say I'm surprised she has suffered with substance abuse for some many years. At least now she can finally rest in peace, such a horrible thing to happen to such a wonderful singer and woman.RIP Whitney!

Whitney was such an incredibly talented woman. It was so sad to see her consumed by drug addiction these past years.

My thoughts go out to her family and 18 year old daughter.

When people choose to start on drugs they must think they won't get addicted. It doesn't work that way and lots of them end up dead, not a surprise to me. Sorry to hear it.
