Who do you want to be when you grow up? One from quilting and the other who ever you want.

Quilting: Jinny Beyer, I would love to have her eye for color and her designing ability, how does she come up with those quilts?

Other: Amelia Earhart, I think it would be wonderful to just fly above everything and have a look around and have your thoughts to yourself. Plus I want to know for sure what went wrong and where did she end up.

Jinny Beyer is by far, my favorite quilt artist. I took a class with her once and it was amazing. The class was on Soft Edge Piecing.
Oh yeah, the question- hmmm....... uh, Jinny Beyer :D and the other one- Elizabeth Berg, Pat Conroy ( a girl version hehe) Dickens, Anna Quindlen, or any good writer. I would love to be able to write something that would touch peoples' hearts and souls.

Quilter: Carol Doak; I've always wanted to be able to paper piece.

Other: Stevie Nicks; always wanted to be able to sing and wear scarves and gypsy outfits like she does.

Is it a cop-out to say that I never wanted to be anyone else but me? I admire the accomplishments of many other women but never desired to be any of them. I really like my life.

I'm new to quilting, so don't know enough about anyone.

Jonas Salk (vaccine for polio). Would love to be the scientist who finally develops a vaccine against cancer or the common cold, etc.

Quilting - ummmmm.... I'd like to actually finish a quilt! And someday I want to do beautiful landscape quilts.

Otherwise, I'd love to be independently wealthy so I'd have lots of free time to cook, sew, hike and travel. Not too much to ask. ;)

Jinny Beyer...Carol Doak... can I say half from each of them :D:D:D
The other would be my maternal grandmother...she was an awesome woman, loving, caring, compassionate, and never said a bad word about anyone....
