Why or how did you choose your screen name? What does it mean?

I was pretty new at computers and being online when I joined my first online message board and how no idea about how to choose a screen name. I did noticed many people used their state in their screen name so I became May in Jersey.

I use Sewnique as my board name because I have a small sewing busniess from my home. No one else in the area sews and they all say I am unique in sewing! Hence the name, Sewnique. I sign my name as Bootsie, which is a nickname from my Dad. Real name is Hester but, everyone knows me by Bootsie. When my son was small, he answered the phone one day and told them no one lived here by the name Hester! LOL!!

my name came about because I love to write, along with many other things, including sewing....little things make up bigger things, whether they are of cloth or letters, etc. I've been told my writings paint a life picture, People seem to enjoy my stories....anyway, that is why I chose my name of wordpainter...and the vs at the end is the initials of my name. (And now you know .... the rest of the story)

yup. i remember grammar--wasn't she married to grampar?
mine is just swedish for "swedish girl", with the number to set it apart from any other "svenskaflicka"s.

I'm Seaside gal because I love, love, love the ocean. I'd rather be there than anywhere especially on overcast, misty days when most people stay home. The colors of the sky are so pretty then, many shades of grays and blues. It is so soothing and peaceful watching the waves roll in, feeling the sand between my toes, watching the birds. Ahhh.
