I have that same condition, Kas... I will try to keep an eye out for your progress as I know this surgery waits for me sometime in my future. I hope all goes well, and that you heal quickly and are as good as old. I'll be thinking of you. xoxo

I had neck surgery a few years ago. Had a disc, that was pressing on my spinal cord, removed & metal cage inserted. Wore a hard collar for 2 weeks, then a soft collar for 4 months. I was able to drive after 2 weeks. I was limited some, but not allot. Your outcome all depends on the surgeon doing your surgery. I went for physical therapy after, which helped me greatly. I hope your surgery goes well & you have no major issues to deal with after.
