actually, I possess a mug that says "Quilters Don't Do Buttons"
there is an exception though. I do my husband's buttons. He rarely asks anything and I'm too cheap to give the money to the tailor!

I might be crazy but I have always enjoyed ironing. Have done it for pay when we were stationed in Germany. I heavily starched Army fatigues for 22 years now dress shirts every week. And all my clothes. So its been almost 38 yrs. I couldn't the last 2 months because of a ruptured Achilles tendon and had surgery. My foot would swell and hurt so bad, but now I have extensive therapy, so I sit on a big stool and prop my foot on a chair. So as you can see, I am a crazy die-hard iron-er. My DH is still buggy my to let him take everything to the cleaners.I hate to spend[my fabric] money on it.
