simple. The candidate must be a natural born citizen of at least 35 years of
age.

However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair was "the
requirement to be a natural born citizen". In short, her opinion was that
this requirement prevented many capable individuals from becoming president.

The class was taking it in and letting her rant, and not many jaws hit the
floor when she wrapped up her argument by stating.

"What makes a natural born citizen any more qualified to lead this country
than one born by C-section?"
oh mercy...stop it...I laughed so hard I hurt my back..hehehe

After Vietnam, my Army brother was a recruiting Sgt.., and he ranted for a long time when a college "kid" who came in bragging on his good grades, one of which was in Frisbee Flying....I kid you not. Brother said he would not have wanted this guy in his squad in war time. I suspect it was more or less a study in aerodynamics, but DB was and is very serious.
Common sense is not very common any more.

I can presume that Civics is no longer taught in our High Schools. Or can we presume that the not much real education is happening today? Sad is it not?

I wonder if she is related to the lady who thought killing animals was awful. She declared why not buy it out of a supermarkets, that way you are not harming any animals. All in all, they tend to make my day.

Now, I am definitely convinced a college education is overrated. I once worked for a Judge in a small town in Georgia. His firm hired a new attorney, just out of law school, was very well recommended, near the top of the class. At the end of his two week orientation, while taking dictation from him for a civil suit, he asked me what Court he had to file the civil suit in. I looked at h im, and asked him why he didn't know., afterall he had passed the Bar Exam, and had many years of education. He informed me that in law school you are not told what Courts to file a suit in., the only thing law school teaches you is how to research and find the law, not how to use it. he's still in practice today.

Thank you for the laugh, I enjoy your postings.
I especially like when I don't see the punchline coming.
